Creative Movement - This joyful introduction to dance invites little movers to explore the magic of ballet through imagination, music, and play. Designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers, this class nurtures creativity, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will twirl like butterflies, leap like frogs, and glide like swans as they begin to learn basic ballet movements. Through storytelling, rhythm games, and gentle guidance, children develop balance, listening skills, and body awareness—all while having a great time. No prior dance experience is needed—just a willingness to move, explore, and have fun! Caregivers may be invited to participate or observe, helping little dancers feel comfortable as they discover the joy of movement.
Pre-Ballet - This class is specially designed for our youngest dancers who are ready to take an exciting step toward independence by participating without a parent in the room. In a warm, nurturing, and encouraging environment, students are gently guided through their first dance experiences while building confidence, comfort, and a sense of accomplishment on their own. Pre-Ballet introduces children to the joy of movement through music, imaginative play, and structured activities. Dancers will begin learning basic ballet positions and simple exercises, along with foundational ballet terminology, all presented in a fun and age-appropriate way. Classes also include stretching and flexibility work to help develop coordination, body awareness, and healthy movement habits. Beyond physical skills, this class supports important developmental milestones. Dancers will practice rhythm and timing, learn how to follow instructions, and strengthen listening and focus. Social interaction is a key part of the experience, as students build friendships, take turns, and learn to work as part of a group. Performance skills are introduced in a supportive setting, helping children feel proud and confident as they express themselves.
Ballet - Ballet is the foundation for ALL STYLES OF DANCE. Ballet classes focus on terminology, stretching, flexibility, rhythm, timing, balance, strength and so much more to create well-rounded dancers. Pre-Pointe - A pre-pointe class is designed to prepare ballet dancers for pointe work by building the strength, alignment, balance, and technique needed for dancing safely on pointe. Students focus on foot and ankle strengthening, core stability, posture, and proper ballet placement through targeted exercises and conditioning. This class helps dancers develop the foundation and readiness required before beginning pointe shoes.
Pointe - Pre-pointe, beginning, intermediate and advanced pointe are all focused on taking the dancers training to the next level of grace and strength. Dancers must be physically strong and dedicated taking several classes a week to be eligible for pointe training. Students will be placed en pointe at their teachers discretion only. There are many factors contributing to a students readiness for pointe including but not limited to, strength, commitment, attendance, foot anatomy, foot growth development, turnout, posture and more.
Contemporary Ballet - Contemporary ballet class blends the grace and technique of classical ballet with the creativity and freedom of contemporary dance. Students build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while learning expressive movement and fluid choreography. Classes focus on proper technique, musicality, and artistic expression in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Variations - A ballet variations class focuses on learning and performing solos and excerpts from classical ballets. Dancers build technique, artistry, musicality, and stage presence while working on choreography from well-known productions such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty. This class helps students develop confidence, precision, and performance quality in a focused and supportive environment.
Pre Jazz/Tap - This class is for our youngest dancers ready to try a class without parent participation. Pre-jazz/tap explores music, movement, basic Jazz positions and exercises, tap/jazz terminology, stretching, flexibility, rhythm, timing, following instructions, listening skills, social skills, performance skills and so much more.
Jazz/Acro Combo - Half Jazz dance and half acro dance. This class is a great introduction to two styles of dance that compliment each other and sometimes are performed simultaneously. Jazz classes use repetition and focus along with basic Jazz positions and exercises, Jazz terminology, stretching, flexibility, rhythm, timing, balance, strength and so much more to create well-rounded dancers. Acro dance class combines dance and basic acrobatics in a fun, supportive environment. Students learn skills such as rolls, balances, cartwheels, flexibility, and simple tumbling while also practicing dance technique, coordination, strength, and musicality. Classes focus on building confidence, body control, and teamwork through age-appropriate exercises, creative movement, and energetic routines. Perfect for kids who love to move, jump, and express themselves through dance.
Jazz - A fun and energetic dance class where students learn jazz dance basics, including kicks, turns, jumps, rhythm, and short routines set to upbeat music. Students build confidence, coordination, flexibility, and performance skills in a positive and supportive environment.Jazz classes use repetition and focus along with basic Jazz positions and exercises, Jazz terminology, stretching, flexibility, rhythm, timing, balance, strength and so much more to create well-rounded dancers.
Tap - Tap class introduces students to tap dance technique, rhythm, timing, and musicality. Dancers will learn basic to intermediate to advanced footwork, combinations, and choreographed routines while improving coordination, balance, and confidence. Classes encourage creativity, focus, and performance skills in a positive and supportive environment.Tap Classes use repetition and focus along with basic Tap positions and exercises, Tap terminology, stretching, rhythm, timing, basic sequences, a cappella tapping and so much more to create well-rounded dancers. Tap benefits all styles of dance immensely and enhances students musicality.
Lyrical - Lyrical is a beautiful blend of Jazz and Ballet focusing the movements to the lyrics of the music. This expressive and uplifting lyrical dance class helps dancers connect movement with music and emotion. Students will learn foundational technique, flexibility, balance, and flowing choreography while building confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Classes focus on storytelling through dance in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Contemporary Jazz - Contemporary jazz class combines the technique and energy of jazz dance with the creativity and expression of contemporary movement. Students learn jumps, turns, flexibility, and musicality while exploring emotional storytelling through dance. Classes include warm-ups, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography in a fun and encouraging environment that helps build confidence, strength, and performance skills.
Musical Theater - Musical theater class is an energetic, confidence-building experience where kids explore the three core elements of performance: singing, dancing, and acting. Through imaginative games, creative exercises, and group activities, students learn how to express themselves on stage while having fun and working together. Classes often begin with warm-ups that get kids moving and focused. Vocal exercises help students practice projection, rhythm, breathing, and pitch through playful songs and call-and-response activities. Dance segments introduce basic musical theater choreography, helping children build coordination, musicality, and stage presence in an encouraging environment. Acting games are a part of the class and are designed to spark creativity and confidence. Kids might play improvisation games, character-building activities, storytelling exercises, or emotion-based challenges that teach them how to communicate and perform naturally. These activities encourage teamwork, listening skills, and self-expression while keeping the atmosphere lighthearted and engaging. Children gain stronger communication skills, increased self-confidence, improved coordination, and a love for performing arts — all while making friends and having fun in a supportive, imaginative setting.
Acro - Acro dance class combines dance and basic acrobatics in a fun, supportive environment. Students learn skills such as rolls, balances, cartwheels, flexibility, and simple tumbling while also practicing dance technique, coordination, strength, and musicality. Classes focus on building confidence, body control, and teamwork through age-appropriate exercises, creative movement, and energetic routines. Perfect for kids who love to move, jump, and express themselves through dance. This is a fun class to take on its own but is an excellent and recommended addition to any dancers training.
Competition Prep Classes - Prep classes are for students interested in joining a competition team and wish to fine-tune their technique in tap, Jazz and lyrical/contemporary. Classes focus on learning choreography, performance skills, stage presence, artistic expression and more.
Competition Classes - Competition Teams are competitive teams that each meet once a week to rehearse and compete around the island and also the mainland several times a year. Teams are audition only and requirements are as follows: must be a minimum of 8 years old to audition and a minimum level 2 dancer in both Ballet and Jazz Check out our competition page for more info.
Performing Arts Playtime (PAP) - Performing Arts Playtime is a weekly class that provides young children with a introductory to preschool style Arts classroom in a welcoming environment that is designed to help them acquire an understanding of Arts and culture around them, to build on their relationships with others, and to develop a love of learning. The class offers children a first-time preschool classroom experience where they can gain early literacy, arts, social and other skills while gaining self-confidence. Each lesson will include a 40 minute dance lesson, story time, learning time, free playtime, arts and crafts and snack time. For students ages 3-5. Please email for more info or to set up a viewing trial, where parents can watch a half hour of class time and students can trial a half hour of class time.
Parents Night Out (PNO) - Parents Night out will be held the second Saturday of each month from 5-8pm unless otherwise specified. This awesome dance party experience turns our studio into a kids dance party extravaganza complete with dinner, crafts, activities, games, dance competitions and an all out dance party! For students ages 6+. Info and signups will go out two weeks before each event. Parents Night out will start in August 2026.
Home school Dance and Movement - Our monthly homeschool dance classes offer a fun environment to get students up and moving and meeting new friends who share a love of dance and the arts.
Private Lessons - Most teachers offer private lessons in their genres, private lessons are also available for wedding dances and other events. Please email studio for more info.
Private Coaching - Private coaching is offered for intermediate and advanced Ballet students who wish to attend a professional Ballet competition on the mainland. Please see private coaching page for more info or email the studio with specific questions.
