Corps -  In French Corps translates to body and is used to describe the Corps De Ballet, or “Body of a Ballet Company”.

Principals - In Ballet a “Principal’ refers to a dancer of the highest ranking in the Company.

At Corps Principals Hawaii, we strive to educate dancers in a loving and nurturing yet disciplined environment, where strong principles guide every plié and pirouette. Our training emphasizes the value of hard work, respect, and unity within the corps, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared purpose. While we hold our principals—both instructors and student leaders—to the highest standards, we also ensure that every dancer, from corps members to aspiring principals on stage, grows in confidence and skill. By balancing care with structure, we instill both the principles of classical technique and the life principles that extend far beyond the studio

Soft Opening and Free Classes

We are having a soft opening in June with a limited class schedule with only one of our two studio spaces operating while we finish building out our studio. A full schedule of classes for all ages and levels will be complete in August or September. If there is a class you are looking for but do not see please email us for more info or stop by our front desk during class hours to inquire or leave a class request.

Please note that all classes from June15-July 3 are free for students to come and try as many classes as they would like without registering and paying the registration fees. Students must sign up through the online portal for their free classes so we don’t overbook the classes beyond their class limits. Please email any question about signups or free trial lessons to info@cphawaiidance.com.
